Home > Press Page

Thursday, December 31, 2009 — The owner of an Elmwood Park massage parlor and three employees were arrested Wednesday evening as the result of a two month investigation by Sheriff’s Police, according to the office of Cook County Sheriff Thomas J. Dart.

Sheriff’s Police began the investigation after village officials contacted them after receiving information that prostitution was being conducted from the Lisunia’s Spa, 2434 N. Harlem, Elmwood Park.  On at least two occasions, undercover officers were offered sex acts in exchange for money while at the business.

Gianfranco Della-Santina, 35, of the 7800 block of Carmen Avenue, Norridge, is the owner of Lisunia’s Spa, and was charged with four counts of conducting a massage without a license.

The following spa workers were also arrested during the raid:

Olga Purekhova, 23, of the 3000 block of North Avenue, Chicago, was charged with one count of prostitution and two counts of conducting a massage without a license.

Malgorzata Dziadana, 38, of the 5000 block of North Ozark, Norridge, one count of prostitution and one count of conducting a massage without a license.

Tetyana Makoviychuck, 30, of the 4200 block of Central Road, Glenview, was charged with conducting a massage without a license.
