His mother, Cheryl Nordlander, 49, also of the 1800 block of Portsmouth Lane, has been charged with possession of cannabis, 2.5 – 10 grams and possession of a controlled substance.
The investigation began after police received complaints from neighbors about drug activity at the home. At the time of the raid, Cheryl Nordlander was on probation for a previous drug arrest. In January 2010 she was arrested by the Chicago Police Department and charged with possession and production of cannabis, and possession of Ecstasy, after a tip that drugs were being shipped to her home by a relative in California.
Bond for both Jason and Cheryl Nordlander was set for $10,000 in Rolling Meadows Court on Saturday.
